The elegant Harvard Estate is a unique enclave of stylish urban residences, designed in the historic character of the surrounding landmark Seattle neighborhood. Reminiscent of the neighborhood’s century old grand residential estates and built for aesthetic pleasure and permanence, the Harvard Estate combines the best of old-world construction and trusted materials with the most proven techniques and systems. BET&R’s Client for this project chose to protect their more than sixty-year track record of producing watertight buildings in the Northwest by engaging BET&R to work with Architect Studio Meng Strazzara in collaboratively designing the conservative, high-quality, aesthetically pleasing exterior envelope system for these high-end residences. BET&R was delighted to work with the Project Team from the schematic design phase through to completed construction, assisting with selection of the most durable, high-quality, low maintenance envelope systems, analyzing and providing recommendations for all exterior building details, and regularly inspecting and monitoring the installation of all critical envelope components during the construction process.
